Well,  the daily prompt today ‘SONG

Yes, it is true, to suggest for me, that there are not just one SONG, several SONG’s, that are significant to my relationship to the world. My relationship in a social context and also my relationship to significant others and to myself.

Why? How? well that is just because I am an individual who feels thinks and acts totally different to anyone else.

I have a distinct awareness of the world around me and how I connect with everything just as nature/nurture intended.

My communication from my ‘inner core‘ (IE intuition/spiritual/soul./psyche)                             To ‘my self‘ (IE physical body) then to ‘outside of me‘(IE atmosphere/energy) and back again.                                                                                                                                                              Like  a wave of static nerve ending connections, like the ebb and flow of the tide, like breath entering the lungs and releasing gentle, although consistently back, out again.

That is the most simplistic way I can try to explain, how  I AM and who I AM

Therefore as I am intrigued by communicating, on different levels via  song/music/sound as one of  many concepts.

SONG/SONG;s is a form of COMMUNICATION, it is also of great significance to me personally.  My interpretation of the word ‘SONG‘ is to explore, not just about one SONG but a variety of SONGS, that have significance to, how I perceive and understand COMMUNICATION

Different SONG’s conger up many feelings and emotions within each individual.   Triggered by the distinct sound rhythm that can, vibrate, deep, into the very soul, of that person and exploit a tremor of emotions

The SONG maybe  stimulating the audial system, but it also has repercussions on the rest of the physical/mental state.

This can be therapeutic, allowing the individual, to reminisce in past, happy events and situation and give the person a sense of the ‘feel good factor’ of their mental state.

Influencing the physical body to indulge in positive action and even motivation. Distracting their attention from mundane tasks and experiences or using songs as a meditative form, to relax and balance, both mental and physical state,as a means, to work in alliance with each other for the greater good of the persons’ well being.

Sometimes not at all, sometimes a SONG can have an uncanny ripple effect and can cause deep unsavoury emotions.  That influence the individual, to think into the past, and become obsessed, about certain situations and events, that may have had  a negative effect; on the emotional part, of the mental state of the body and maybe put into action the physical state, of the body.  To act out in ways of extreme, fearfulness, that are not favourable and be quite draining for the individual

The communication undertones of the SONG work for or against what the author of ‘SONG’ was trying to portray based on their own individual self and using their distinct individual  skill and talent with words/ Melody to communicate with their audience their distinct story.

Some fans/listeners decide to adapt the song into their own life as an association of how the song may connect with their own life events situations past present or future ideals. It is important for them to take  total responsibility of this of themselves.

For each fan/listener as an  individual in society as an adult to act feel based on their responsibility of themselves.

I do not write or say this lightly, I have been there, I understand and have experienced many situations and events that I had to, manage and realise my responsibility, as an adult, for me to think and feel a certain way was up to me no one else.

Probably quite reasonably to consider that the SONG (birth) was first written by the original author and it is very relevant to acknowledge that as an adult the individual/author, are only responsible for their own feelings and emotions not for anyone else

My interpretation may not sit well with other peoples’ view, although, not with any intention to be ignorant or irresponsible for anyone else.  I act  feel and do with total positive regard to my audience and I wrote this with no intention to offend.

I do stand by what I believe I am responsible for my actions and emotions with a moral intention not to offend anyone

Many songs I listen to, depend on my mood.  Many songs are played while I am out shopping or as I drive, some are played by the radio station some by the shopping centre event management

Either I have the choice to switch off/or turn station for the song I hear on the radio or while  in the shopping centre, I can also choose to switch off my mind to the mood emotion I feel listening to the SONG or leave allowing my emotions to take control I am still responsible for my feelings actions.  I can choose to enjoy or listen to the words what are the words communicating to me TODAY rather than they sending me back to a good or negative memory

I have choice in the here and now how to respond I Am responsible of that choice

I really never listened to the words of the SONG i just liked the music and of course the group, Spandau Ballet’, what a great name for a band I thought as a teenager

Both SONG’s source below from ;

Communication always leaves me incomplete,
The grass is greener, but it’s grown beneath my feet…
Love inspiration is a message on a wing,
But I have left it in the words you’ll never sing…

Communication let me down,
And I’m left here
Communication let me down,
And I’m left here, I’m left here again!

Telex or tell me, but it’s always second-hand,
I’m incognito but no rendezvous’s been planned…
Dictate or relay, I could send it to your home,
“Return to Sender” – I could sing it down the phone!

Communication let me down,
But I’m left here
Communication let me down,
But I’m left here, I’m left here, I, I, I…

I’m sitting here, waiting by the telephone,
Waiting for the bell to ring,
Short change, fumble,
Dial-a-heart trouble,
And I ain’t got time for searching through the rubble, oh no!
Well, I know-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh!

Communication let me down,
And I’m left here
Communication let me down
And I’m left here, I’m left here, I, I, I…

(I’m a-left a-here-oh!)

Great SONG I think by Louis Armstrong, the SONG fills me with happiness worth listening to.

Although the SONG can influence how I perceive it based on my mood.                                That is my very own individual thought, as this particular SONG  can remind me of how important life is, it can sometimes remind me of Christmas.  It can also remind me of my experience  and memories of childhood/youth/adulthood. Some sad times, some happy times but each time I hear this song my interpretation of it changes.  Just not always  the same because of who I AM of how I AM feeling and I will finish with the Lyrics of this SONG

“What A Wonderful World”

I see trees of green,
red roses too.
I see them bloom,
for me and you.
And I think to myself,
what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue,
And clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
The dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow,
So pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces,
Of people going by,
I see friends shaking hands.
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying,
“I love you”.

I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow,
They’ll learn much more,
Than I’ll ever know.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

Yes, I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

Oh yeah.

Eerie Not Just A Word Or Is It?;IT?

(daily post prompt)

Definition of EERIE means mysterious strange

The origin of word comes from originally Scottish and Northern English, probably from Old English earg  meaning cowardly, miserable

The above explanation is originally sourced from;

Interesting isn’t it? IT?                                                                                                                            Although how I perceive the word EERIE….I  use  Phonics as a prop,  I split the  word up…WHY?.. To get a sense and sound of the word; I recognise IT when I sound IT out in my mind

Even  I look at the word and in my visual view of EERIE IT resonates to me as Strange in the concept of IT ‘s  very own, ‘spelling format’.   As if IT had a personality and character of IT‘s own; although that is my own personal interpretation

If IT looks strange the way IT is spelt on the page IT may be difficult to even realise; that  yes this is a word and most of you recognise when you hear IT spoken and the word EERIE also emanates an emotion to match the meaning.(do you agree?)

Then you realise yes this is a recognised word acknowledged in dictionaries and thesaurus and in many different languages . If you Google or use any other search engine or look IT up EERIE in your own dictionary or thesauruses. Mysteriously by just typing the word!

In your search you will find that; .extraordinary enough or strange enough that..

The word EERIE has many spellings and is  a debate topic of what each individual makes a conscious choice of how they believe this word is spelt and how you recognise IT for; what IT may symbolise to you as an individual personal perception for example;  Is IT known to you to be spelt as EERIE or EERY?

Personal preference I would imagine, would or may persuade you or are you influenced by proper English vocabulary when you choose to use this word? .                                                 Are you more an  adventurous  driven individual? as you wish to choose what way you want the word to look like as you use it in your personal distinct  communication written form to express to your audience.

Would you be influenced by wanting the word in your sentence not to be criticised or debated by others that your spelling is wrong? or does IT really matter?

Daily Prompt: Giant

via Daily Prompt: Giant

Giants Causeway Co Antrim   Northern Ireland

Well known place to visit steeped in folklore and culture

The mystery why stones formed in hexagon, columns, linking style been scientifically explained.  As the result of an volcanic eruption.

Although I would imagine it to be more interesting, to know about the legends stories that explain the formation of stones.   Maybe to some still a mystery although liking to keep it that way.   While others interests may want to believe in the legends and folklore sure it bound to be more interesting read.

My interpretation of it is;

Folklore and  legend concludes that the  causeway was built by an Irish giant known as Fionn mac Cumhaill (pronounced Finn MacCool), from the Fenian Cycle of Gaelic Mythology.

He was challenged to fight a Scottish giant named Benandonner.   Well of course Fionn accepted the challenge he was not going to retreat so he  built the causeway across the North Channel by using massive stones  so that the two giants could meet.

There are many  versions of the story, it up to the individual to feel more drawn to and even may have been changed as these folklore tales were handed down oral communication initially rather than written.

The use of a ‘Seanchaí’ is a traditional Irish storyteller/historian that passed stories from one generation to next.  The role and traditional art of a SEANCHAI/ (plural SEANCHAITHE)  derived  for Irish Cheiftians to pass on important information for their clan and were held in high esteem by their clan.

Not all Seanchaithe,  were part of a clan, some were itinerants, travelling from one community telling stories and folklore for food and  shelter. Other Seanchaithe were members of a settled community and were known as “village storytellers” who told their stories and tales at ceremonies and community events

Fionn tricks Benandonner when he realises that Benandonner is much bigger.          Fionn’s told his wife, Oonagh, to disguises Fionn as a baby and tucks him in a cradle.

When Benandonner sees the size of the ‘baby’, he reckons that its father, Fionn, must be a giant among giants. He flees back to Scotland in fright, destroying the causeway behind him so that Fionn could not follow.

The Scientific explanation also suggests that across the sea, at Fingals Cave on the Scottish Isle of Staffa there are identical basalt columns (a part of the same ancient volcanic   lava flow)  it is possible that the story was influenced

In  Irish mythology, Fionn Mac Cumhaill (pronounced Finn MacCool) is not perceived as a giant.  Instead a hero with supernatural abilities.

‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ by

When you’re weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes
I will dry them all
I’m on your side
When times get rough
And friends just can’t be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

When you’re down and out
When you’re on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you
I’ll take your part
When darkness comes
And pain is all around
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

Sail on, silvergirl
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine
If you need a friend
I’m sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
